Goth Muscle Daddy Davin Strong Will Dominate You and Get Pegged by You. He'll Destroy and Love You.
We learn all about how the philosophical loverboy approaches sex, intimacy, relationships, and that messy thing we call life.
Davin Strong has earned his name. A goth muscle daddy, with a sensitive streak and love of poetry, the former college wrestler is an enigma. He’s tender yet rough. He loves women and big cocks. He wants to dominate you as a service top and then get cucked (though not in a derogatory/humiliating manner. He’s far more interested in playing with the idea of sexual ownership, i.e., that is my or I am sharing that pussy).
Speaking with Strong, it's clear that fifty thoughts race through his head at any given moment, and he must sift through them all to share the one he intends. Deeply introspective, he is a man who is unabashedly himself, who revels in his emotions without fear. He’s quite admirable that way.
He is Strong both inside and out, as well as the latest interviewee for my Substack series, PORN STARS: They’re Just Like Us Only Not!
Zachary Zane: What’s your name, and when were you born?
Davin Strong: My name is Davin Addison (AKA Davin Strong), and I was born in 1995.
ZZ: How and why did you pick “Davin Strong” as a porn name?
DS: I started lifting weights when I was 13, and quickly became stronger than everyone around me.
I started wrestling and doing combat sports (kickboxing, jujitsu) around that time and quickly had a physical advantage over the grown men I practiced with. By the time I was 15, I was beating up a lot of grown MMA fighters!
I went on to be a D1 wrestler and was average as a college wrestler, but was known for my strength. (I had a lot of strength records at my university!) Some of my teammates would see (other) people do strong things, whether in a match or lifting, and use my name as an adjective to describe them! They would say, “Dang, that’s Davin Strong!!”
So later on, when I started fitness modeling, I made it my IG handle!
I then adapted it as my stage name when I started doing porn.
How did you first get into porn?
I started doing porn on OnlyFans almost ten years ago now. I had immediate success because I was able to transfer my fan base from fitness modeling straight to OnlyFans porn.
You were an early adopter of OnlyFans, given that it only launched in 2016. What has changed using the platform in the past decade?
I just did a podcast with NPR where I explained how FOSTA-SESTA changed OnlyFans for everyone. At first, I had an easy time making money by posting on my OnlyFans and occasionally escorting because my social media pages drove traffic to my OnlyFans, but as legislation changed and my social media reach was limited, I had to seek other options.
We were/are restricted in our organic reach to anyone outside our preexisting audiences on our pages, so we adapted and began using collabs to grow our audiences. So I dove headfirst into hardcore porn on OnlyFans so I could do collabs and cross-promotion. Around then, I also started doing some studio porn.
I talk about my first experience with a porn studio in a recently released story on my Substack. It is a tale of the harrowing realities of end-stage capitalism, becoming ourselves, and MURDER! Please check it out!
Are you slutty when the camera is not on?
When I’m feeling my best, I’m pretty slutty! I have had a girlfriend for about a year, and I have historically liked being in a relationship. For me, my sexuality is very intimacy-driven, novelty-driven, and kink-driven.
I identified as straight early in my twenties, and then identified as bi, pan, and now I think what works best is the label “queer” (as tatted on my throat) or just “kinky.” Sometimes I joke that I am “spicy straight.”
But I love big cocks! And love men being involved in my sexual interactions-But don’t really get the same neuron activation from AMAB pheromones as I do from AFAB!
For me, men are a very kink-based element of my sexuality (sharing a woman with a man, watching a woman be fucked by a man) in the vein of compersion, the stimulation of a sense of “threat” or “competition,” and a natural enjoyment of big cocks.
I love the pleasure of a woman! I love watching women feel good (particularly my partner), even if it’s with another man. I also love novelty and the experience of fucking lots of new women and feeling like a virile stud out to breed.
What’s your favorite type of porn to shoot?
Anything that is subversive and has substance. Whether that be a scene where I am being gangbanged by trans guys, showing softness and sensuality, focusing on eager, consenting, communicative pleasure for a woman, showing softness and intimacy between men that goes beyond animalistic fucking, normalizing human bodies (i.e., dicks not working, diverse shapes of bodies).
Anything that is trying to say something about sex and society within consenting adults that paves the way for less black and white thinking surrounding sex.
What are your top four biggest kinks and why? What about them turns you on?
1. My partner’s pleasure in general (i.e., service top/pleasure domming).
2. Power dynamic stuff like “daddy/little” and fantasy ownership involving collaring and contracts, along with CNC-based role plays!
3. Sharing my partner/hearing about my partner’s experience with others or having them send me videos. (I also like being a bull.)
4. I also have an exhibitionist streak, hence the porn career!
When did you start exploring your kinks? How did you discover them?
I was in my early twenties when I realized I got off on my girlfriend getting with guys and hearing about them with other guys. My first college girlfriend was a beautiful cheerleader who had gotten fucked by the whole basketball team. I never heard the end of it from all the guys on my team, but I never really cared and would say, “If I looked like her, I would be getting fucked too.”
I think the general notion of “danger” in the form of competition is why I like it. It feels extremely stimulating. I don’t like being “cucked” in the traditional sense, where I am being degraded, but prefer to use it as a practice in ownership as well (i.e., “It’s my pussy, and I’m renting it out/granting permission/facilitating their pleasure.” )
You’re polyamorous, too, right? What was that journey like to discovering you’re non-monogamous?
I have been practicing some version of non-monogamy for seven or so years. It has been a long and bumpy road full of despair and fun and grief (as a lot of things were in my 20s).
I had partners I was open with, or sometimes multiple deep romantic partners at once. All of which were learning experiences in communicating what I want, holding space for other people’s feelings, and setting boundaries with people who aren’t certain about being polyamorous.
Along the way, I discovered I am a loverboy and can definitely be “in love” with multiple people at once. That said, I have found that, given my energetic bandwidth, I can responsibly have only one committed primary partner. So, I am currently in an open relationship (with some kink rules), and we have a lot of fun, but we are in a primacy.
Still, I don’t really believe in the “hierarchy” of these things. I consider my friends as important (whether sexual or platonic) as my partner. But my partner is the focus of my romantic energy.
I love your look and online persona. I’d describe you as an introspective, muscle goth Daddy, but how would you describe your aesthetic?
Something like that! I’ve been very forward in my branding of being an “alt tatted Herculean goddess” or some other string of descriptors. The goal was always to embody dynamic, shifting elements of the masculine and the feminine, and to just be myself.
Have you run into any issues doing mainstream porn because you have a less traditional look? If so, what happened and how did you respond?
Oh yes! I was aware as I went through porn that it would happen. I started out less tatted and just a Herculean-looking ex-college athlete and bodybuilder. I had a huge push forward into the mainstream as a result of that and my fitness modeling career.
I was aware it was career suicide getting as heavily tattooed as I did (face tattoo in particular).
But I didn’t care. I gave up a ton of things to be myself: WWE, Chippendales, and college wrestling, to name a few!
I wasn’t about to start changing who I am in order to make more money. Again, big picture! I wouldn’t have been a version of myself I could be proud of on my deathbed.
What’s next for you?
I’ve been working on a book! But in the meantime, I am publishing new stuff on Substack periodically. I encourage everyone to follow me there!
