I Got Penis Fillers, and Now I Have a Meaty Hog

As the sex advice columnist at Men’s Health, the most frequent question I receive is: “Can I make my dick bigger?” 

The answer is yes, but it’s expensive, potentially dangerous, has limitations on the type of size increase, and most cosmetic procedures aren’t permanent. Not to mention the guys reaching out to me often have an unhealthy obsession with their dick size. It’s something they think about nonstop, and I could see these men spending their life savings to get the thickest monster cock imaginable. (And guess what? Having a thick chode isn’t going to solve all your problems.)

But I was interested…Personally, I love body modification. I find it fascinating. I was also in a unique position not to have to pay for penis fillers, which to me, was the largest obstacle. I’m also not obsessed with my size. I am thrilled with my penis, but fuck it, why not get it a little bigger for free? Why not see what all the fuss is about? 

So when Chris Bustamente, DNP, NP-C, and founder of NYC medspa Lushful Aesthetics, reached out to me (or rather his press team did), asking if I wanted to try penis fillers, I said, “Screw it. Give me a meaty hog.”

Q&A With Injector Chris

Before getting into my personal experience with the procedure, let’s break down some of the more common questions about penis fillers. (One question I did not ask Chris, but I know the answer to: penis fillers can only increase girth and thickness. It does not increase penile length.) 

What type of filler did you use and why?

At Lushful Aesthetics, I utilize primarily hyaluronic acid-based fillers to perform penis filler for girth enhancement. This allows the treatment to be performed safely and to create a refined aesthetic outcome. 

What was the quantity of filler you used on me (and what’s the average range for quantity)?

We utilized 8 syringes of filler. The average range in our practice is 7-15 syringes. We do have some patients who opt for more filler, which can certainly be done. The amount of filler recommended will depend on the patient’s goals and their baseline length, as patients with longer penises will require more filler to create a more impactful treatment. The minimum amount of syringes we inject is 5, just because anything less won’t make an impactful result. 

What would have been the cost for the amount of fillers you gave me?

Our price breakdown is as follows: 

• First 5 syringes: $4000 

• Second 5 syringes: $700 per additional syringe 

• Over ten syringes: $600 per additional syringe

• So, if you were going to get 15 syringes, it would be $4000 + $3500 + $3000, which equals $10,500. 

• We filled you up with 8 syringes, which could have cost $6,100. 

Roughly how long do penis fillers last? (When do we start to see a decrease, and when are they completely gone?)

Penis filler slowly fades away over three years. But there will be some degree of collagen induction from the filler that will likely last way longer. Patients who have received a significant amount of filler will probably experience some degree of permanent enhancement because of the collagen induction. Girth enhancement with penis filler will be the largest at its initial time of injection and, from there, will start decreasing over time as the body metabolizes the bonds that provide the filler structure. 

What is the total recovery time? (Also, please let me know the various stages of recovery time. How you can expect your penis to look at each stage.)

Recovery time is truly a range, and not many people talk about this. I like to say that at two weeks, patients should expect to be 90% recovered. The last 10% can take another 2-4 weeks to settle fully.

Now, I have some patients who are perfectly healed after a week. Others need 4-6 weeks from the procedure to fully resolve all the swelling. It doesn’t mean it looks bad while it’s all settling in; usually, after 3-5 days from the treatment, patients can start to appreciate how the results are settling.

Nonetheless, always wait it out and communicate with your provider. I always instruct patients to reach out with any questions; I never want someone to feel anxious during the healing journey. It’s all worth it, and it’s honestly not bad at all. But many providers just aren’t fully transparent that healing varies by person. 

How long do you need to wait to have sex/masturbate after penis fillers?

There’s a strict 24-hour rule not to engage in sex, masturbation, exercise, hot tubs, saunas, or baths. This is to avoid infection. After that, it’s a matter of comfort for the patient. Sex or masturbation isn’t going to ruin the filler. But some people on days 2-3 may still be too sore to engage in those practices.

To clarify, the overall procedure is not painful; we utilize prescription strength numbing cream, a nerve block, and laughing gas (nitrous oxide) to keep patients comfortable. During the healing phase, the penis will only be mildly tender during the daily massages patients must perform. But they’re not walking around uncomfortable. So, therefore, sex and masturbation can take place anytime after 24 hours when the patient feels comfortable. 

Can you run through aftercare?

As mentioned, avoid sex, masturbation, hot tubs, pools, saunas, and baths for 24 hours. The patient will shower the same day of the procedure and wash their penis with soap and water. Apply Vaseline or Aquaphor (no Neosporin) on the penis after the shower. They will begin daily massages of the penis for 15 min a day the next day for at least two weeks. I’ll see them for their 2-week follow-up and assess if they need to continue the massages for another week or so. 

Any potential adverse side effects of penis fillers?

The most common adverse side effects of penis filler are poor aesthetic outcomes. This is why it’s important to see someone who does this daily. This is truly a specialty, and unfortunately, many providers offer procedures they do not routinely perform, which can lead to negative outcomes.

The rare side effects are vascular occlusion and infection. These should not happen with proper injection techniques. That being said, your provider can also address them if needed.

What was the difference in my size?

You gained 1/2 an inch in circumference. (Author’s note: nicccccce.)

My Experience 

Preparation

There was no preparation needed before heading into the procedure. I just needed to get my ass to Chris’ office on time.

The Procedure

The procedure itself lasted about thirty minutes. He had numbed my penis with a cream but also with an injection beforehand. Honestly, the needle injection for the numbing was the most painful, but nothing unmanageable. While Chris injected my penis with fillers, I was on nitrous oxide (aka laughing gas) to help relax. I did not feel any pain, though at times, I felt some mild discomfort as he was poking around. 

When we finished, I was a little bloody (As is typical after fillers. You are getting poked, after all). He then bandaged my penis up, and honestly, my peen looked charming, all wrapped up, like a sickly babushka. I wanted to put a little thermometer in his mouth.   

96 Hours Following the Procedure

I didn’t feel all that sore the following days. There was some slight discomfort, but it was extremely manageable. I’m trying to remember if I even took Advil. I think I maybe did the first day, but that was it. 

I did have sex 48 hours after the procedure, which, again, was allowed. But was also a choice, as my penis looked ridiculous. (More on this momentarily). And my fillers were heavily congregated at the base of my penis, so it looked like a pyramid when I got erect. 

What Chris Did Not Prepare Me for

My penis looked absolutely fucking insane for the first few days—honestly, for the first ten days following the procedure. It was like an amorphous blob. My dick was a ball, a circle, and it had these big lumps on the sides and underneath. 

This is common before the penis fillers settle. And as you continue to massage the fillers downward for the first two weeks, your penis will start to look more normal. (As Chris noted, this is also something that differs between patients. Some people look more normal within a few days. For other folks, like myself, it takes longer.)

Chris warned me that my penis would be swollen after the procedure and that it would take some time to settle, but he did not prepare me for just HOW fucking crazy it would look. I wish he had, and after reading this, I bet he will for future patients. 

Two Weeks Following the Procedure

After about two weeks, my dick was settling, but it was still uneven. I had some fillers congregating underneath my penis, at the base. The sides of my penis were still a little lumpy and uneven. To be fair, this is something that no one would notice or comment on. It was just something I was aware of, and even if my dick didn’t settle any further and remained like this, I would have considered the procedure a whopping success. 

I went to see Chris at the two-week mark for my follow-up and asked if I needed to dissolve any of the filler to make my dick more even. He assured me I didn’t need to, and my penis was still settling. I just needed to pinch (hard) the clump of filler, and they would break down on their own. 

A month after the procedure

My dick is fully settled, and it looks great!

Flaccid

One thing I love about penis fillers is that it makes your soft cock bigger. Essentially, the additional weight of the filler causes your dick to hang lower, so you’re more filled out with a nice bulge. (My thirst traps are going to be insane moving forward). When you do get cold, your dick will bunch up a little more awkwardly because you do have more shit in your dick. But honestly, your dick never looks good when cold, so, like, whatever. 

Erect

My dick is fabulous when erect. The penis fillers have settled, and I have gained a half inch in girth, which may not sound like a lot but is noticeable in both look and feel. It is not PERFECTLY even on the sides and underneath, as my dick was before the procedure. It is slightly curvier, but it’s such a slight difference and, honestly, one that only I would recognize because it’s my damn penis. 

FAQS COQS (Constantly Overasked Questions)

Do fillers alter function or pleasure?

I asked Chris this question before the procedure, and he said, “For better or worse, it does not change sexual function or pleasure.”

I disagree with the latter. 

On face value, it doesn’t change sexual pleasure, but your dick is thicker. So that means, when you’re fucking a pussy or asshole, their hole is tighter around your now fatter penis. That’s more pressure, more sensation.

So I actually have been able to cum a little quicker during penetrative sex, which I appreciate as sometimes it takes me a long time to climax because I’m on SSRIs, there’s pressure on me to finish, and I’m fraysexual (and we’ve already fucked a bunch).

How do you “massage” your penis for the two weeks following fillers?

You’re not just gooning for 15 minutes. You wrap your hand around the base of your penis, squeeze hard, and “push” the fillers down towards your head. It doesn’t feel pleasurable. It actually feels uncomfortable and a little bit painful, but you gotta do it to help the fillers settle evenly!

Will my partners stop leaving me?

No, I mean, maybe if you got a SHIT ton of dick fillers, then maybe. But probably not.

Could I be a bull in a cuck situation now? 

That’s more to do with your confidence and attitude, but you may now be more confident because you have a bigger dick, so maybe.

Final thoughts

If you have a long thin penis, I highly highly recommend getting penis fillers if you have the money, time, energy, etc. Penis fillers are ideal for pencil dicks. Conversely, if you want a meaty, fat chode—I highly recommend them as well. 

If you are already girthy and short (chode or chode-adjacent), I’d probably skip it.
