Welcome to BOYSLUT®
In case you stumbled on this site by accident, or you were simply Googling “Boyslut” for some inexplicable reason, let me tell you a little bit about me. (Then I’ll share the deets about the BOYSLUT® zine!)
About The Boyslut, Zachary Zane
I’m a Brooklyn-based author, columnist, speaker, and sex expert whose work focuses on (bi)sexuality, lifestyle, and culture.
I’m the author of Boyslut: A Memoir and Manifesto. The critically acclaimed book isn’t a collection of erotic essays like the zine. Rather, the Boyslut book is a memoir-manifesto in which I articulate that, even today, we live in a world that shames people for the sex that they have and the sexualities that they inhabit. Through the lens of my bisexuality and much self-described sluttiness, I break down exactly how this sexual shame negatively impacts our lives and, through personal experience, share how we can unlearn the harmful, entrenched messages that society imparts to us.
I also have a weekly sex advice column at Men’s Health titled “Sexplain It,” where I answer a diverse range of questions pertaining to masculinity, ethical non-monogamy, sexual insecurities, and the LGBTQ community. I answer questions with actionable advice that isn't just "communicate with your partner," because let’s be real, we all know that shit already.
My column was such a success that Men’s Health had me co-author the book Men’s Health Best Sex Ever: 200 Frank, Funny & Friendly Answers About Getting It On.
I also have a new monthly column at Cosmopolitan titled “Navigating Non-Monogamy,” where I delve into the nitty-gritty of non-monogamy, tackling issues that extend far beyond the basic “how to navigate jealousy” and “how to open up your relationship.”
But enough about what I do. What is BOYSLUT® about?
Originally, this was my newsletter, but over the years, it has evolved. Now, it’s an erotic digital zine (and BOYSLUT® is a registered trademark) where I publish non-fiction sex stories. REAL ones that happened to me and you. Interested in submitting? First, take a look at the submission requirements, and make sure to read some BOYSLUT® essays before you pitch, but I would love to hear what naughty things you’ve been up to!
Love your fav Boylsut,
